Asteco launches design consultancy service
Posted: 12-10-2006 , 12:10 GMT

kitchenExpanding its service portfolio further, real estate and property services leader Asteco has launched a new consultancy service for customers called ‘Design and Furnishing Solutions’.

The service aims to assist clients in all aspects of interior design and furnishing, maximising rental returns for both developers and investors. Asteco will also leverage its market credibility to help source reliable designers and suppliers who can quote pre-negotiated price packages.

Asteco’s latest service will be headed by Kerrin Matthey whose areas of expertise include concept design, space planning, lighting and specifying finishes. With a degree in interior design from London, Matthey has nine years’ experience as a design consultant and a real estate sales manager working with prestigious international and regional projects.

Matthey’s knowledge, combined with her design and real estate experience, will prove to be a valuable asset when advising investors, said Elaine Jones, Asteco’s CEO. “Buyers based abroad or purchasing a second home need assistance when designing or planning their home. We recommend that they approach an organised set-up because not only does it save time but also allows them to interact with experienced professionals in their decision-making.”

Asteco’s design team will provide a wide spectrum of services, including sound advice and consultancy, sourcing furniture packages for investors, developers and serviced apartments, exclusive interior design services, fit-out for show apartments and commercial turnkey solutions for offices. The services are competitively priced to accommodate all budgets.

“The consultancy service is one of many useful customer-oriented solutions that Asteco has developed in greater detail. Our aim is to maintain our position as the leading property services provider in the Middle East real estate sector,” said Jones.

Some of the suppliers that Asteco has partnered with for interior furnishing include B&B Italia, Baituti, Purity, Marina, Bo Concept, Home Essentials and Buro45.

Matthey added: “The service is absolutely free for our customers. It is an add-on to existing services such as sales, leasing and property management. We aim to make the process from buying to moving in as simple and hassle-free as possible. The idea is catching on quickly and we’ve already begun working on several prestigious projects.”

Asteco’s design team is currently working on design packages for celebrity villas on the Palm Jumeirah, the show apartment for Park Place (on Sheikh Zayed Road) and tailor-made packages for Oceana and Tiara Residences (Palm Jumeirah).

Founded in Dubai in 1985, Asteco is the UAE’s largest property services company. Its services include retail, commercial and residential sales and leasing; strategic consultancy; property management and marketing; feasibility studies and valuations; and research and investment.
