RAM adds two flights to Algeria city of Oran

The Moroccan airline “Royal Air Maroc” (RAM) will launch next February two additional weekly flights between the Moroccan city of Casablanca and the Algeria western city of Oran. RAM

 

RAM is already operating three weekly flights between Casablanca and Algiers while the Algerian airline “Air Algérie” services Algiers-Casablanca-Algiers flight in addition to a weekly liaison between Casablanca and Oran.

 

According to MAP, RAM aims at satisfying the demand of the Moroccan community in Algeria’s western region, which hosts over 50,000 Moroccans, as well as the needs of its Algerian and foreign customers who want to fly to North America, as Air-Algérie does not service the Canada destination.

 

The Moroccan air company has carried in the period between November 2003 and October 2004 some 36,000 passengers in the two directions (Casablanca and Algiers), including those who stop over in Morocco on their way to Canada.

It projects to further increase its links with Algiers, starting next summer with a fourth weekly flight.
