UAE: Western Union launches domestic money transfer service

Western Union Financial Services, Inc., a worldwide leader in money transfer services, has announced a new beneficial service for customers living in the UAE.  People can now send and receive money to and from family, friends and businesses within the country within minutes via the Western Union Money Transfer® service.  And with more than 250 agent locations throughout the Emirates, chances are that there is an agent location nearby. Starting with a service fee of  20 AED for transactions up to 3,675 AED² the service allows customers to send and receive funds quickly and conveniently to and from participating agent locations within the UAE.  All nationalities that live and work in the UAE need to transfer money inside the country for business or personal purpose and to complete a transaction, consumers can follow a simple process:
 A customer completes a ‘To Send Money’ form at a Western Union agent location and provides identification.
 The agent collects the transfer amount plus fee, and processes the transaction.
 The receiver completes a ‘To Receive Money’ form at any Western Union agent location and provides identification.
 The money is available for pick-up at Western Union receiving agent locations within minutes.
