Jafza announces Dubai Auto Zone (DAZ)

Based on Dubai’s vision to be a regional center, Jafza & Business Parks Management announces Dubai Auto Zone as the future primary market place for the Auto industry. Dubai Auto ZoneDubai Auto Zone, located in Ruwaya on the Dubai Bypass Road, aims to satisfy the region’s growing demand for auto businesses.

 

The multi-billion dirhams project, which is due to be completed by the end of 2007, will facilitate traders, light manufacturers, service providers, and others in the automotive and machinery industry.

 

Salma Hareb, the CEO of Jafza & Business Parks , comments “The introduction of DAZ will extend Dubai’s vision as the centre of tourism, business and finance and now as centre of an Auto Industry Marketplace, which will cater to Buyers, Sellers, Service Providers, Principles and Traders alike.”

 

Hareb adds “We have followed a customer centric approach in the development of DAZ. The facilities we are developing would aim to improve end-users experience.”

 

Dubai Auto Zone will consist of a Free Zone to attract foreign direct investment, a Specialized Economic Zone to Cater to the GCC market, and a Retail Zone to serve the local market. In addition to high quality customer service, Dubai Auto Zone will provide its partners with state-of-the-art facilities including advanced telecommunication system, high capacity power supplies, integrated road network, Waste Treatment Plant and various service facilities.

           

Obaid Bin-Drai, Head of Al Awir Projects, mentions “We will communicate to all our existing clients Dubai Auto Zone’s vision. We will clarify the Zone’s mission and explain the timeline of the project”, “We are certain that this project will provide our partners with all the facilities they need to prosper in the local and international market”, he added

 

The master plan for Dubai Auto Zone will be ready by the 3rd quarter of 2006, and from that date the plots will be allocated to those registered in the zone.

 

Currently Jafza is home to hundreds of companies from the auto industry involved in assembly and trade of heavy machinery, automotive, spare parts, tires, batteries, electrical equipment and other products related to the Auto Industry. However, due to the high demand in the auto industry, Dubai Auto Zone has been created to accommodate the growing market.

 

Dubai Auto Zone’s Vision is to be the Market Place of choice within Middle East, driven by globally competitive innovation in a profitable and growing auto & machinery market/
