FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX), the world’s largest express transportation company, has brought the world closer to its customers in the UAE with the opening of the first World Service Center (WSC) in Sharjah. fedex logo

The FedEx World Service Center will be dedicated to serving customers in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates and is located in the Crystal Plaza Building on King Faisal Street; a focal point for many local businesses. The new WSC offers customers a convenient location to connect to the FedEx international network and is well equipped to serve all their shipping needs. The WSC will stock a range of packaging suitable for almost all shipping requirements and customers will be able to pay by cash, credit card, or with their FedEx Account Number. The World Service Centre will be open from 9:00am-1:30pm and from 3:30pm-8:00pm, 6 days a week (Saturday-Thursday).

“Our customers want us to be as close as possible to their places of work and residence” said Hamdi Osman, Vice President, FedEx Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa. ‘We are constantly looking for ways of matching our service more precisely to our customers’ needs, and the opening of this new WSC will lead to an improved customer experience for our customers in Sharjah”.

With the addition of this FedEx World Service Center in Sharjah, FedEx now has a total of nine retail locations across the UAE. Six centers are located in Dubai and Jebel Ali, with two more in Abu Dhabi.
