Posted: 22-07-2008 , 09:21 GMT

Christina Cabading, President, BSEL Infrastructure Realty FZEUAE-based BSEL Infrastructure Realty has hailed the new $ 2 billion 1000 MW coal driven power plant as the best thing to happen to Ajman.

Last Friday, (July 18, 2008) sections of media had reported that the Ajman government had announced a new power plant to be set up in the booming Emirate. The reports said that the power plant is part of the Ajman government’s efforts to ensure adequate infrastructure to keep pace with the increasing residential projects in Ajman. The facility will provide adequate electricity to all the real estate projects in the city.

BSEL Infrastructure Realty FZE, UAE, has high exposure in Ajman with seven plots approximating 7.9 million sq. ft. in Main Emirates City. BSEL will be building a cluster of seven towers, namely, Pearl, Fayrooz, Kahraman, Almas, Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby at a cost of AED 2 billion. Construction of Pearl, Fayrooz, Kahraman, and Almas towers has already started.

“The recent news of the new Malaysian built power plant has been welcomed by all real estate developers in Ajman, including BSEL.  It is certainly a move in the right direction to provide power supply to the region. Investors and property buyers can now be rest assured that the decision made by the Emirate of Ajman will provide necessary support & infrastructure in the future,” said Ms. Christina Cabading, President, BSEL Infrastructure Realty FZE.

“Coupled with last month’s introduction of a new set of laws pertaining to real estate, the power plant news is a strong message that the Emirate of Ajman means business. The Emirate of Ajman has been & will now continue to be a good long term investment destination”, she added.
