Reichle & De-Massari R&MReichle and De-Massari (R&M, www.rdm.com), the Swiss cabling specialist announced today it has been named the network infrastructure provider for Toyota Egypt.  The announcement of the Toyota Egypt project is the latest in a series of installations for R&M in the Africa region and strengthens its market leading position.

Toyota Egypt selected R&M to provide a robust end to end cabling solution deploying its inno-vative enterprise cabling portfolio.   The entire project includes the implementation of the entire network infrastructure and backbone with R&M’s advanced enterprise cabling products including R&M Cat 6 copper cabling and fiber om2 cabling throughout Toyota Egypt’s branches and service centers across the country.  Additionally, select branches are also de-ploying R&M’s new revolutionary to the industry Cat. 6A solution for greater performance and reliability.

Toyota Egypt is part of the regional conglomerate Al-Futtaim Group and is the sole distributor for Toyota Motor Corporation products in Egypt with full service centers nationwide for sales, service, and spare parts. The company has a total of six branches/centers in Egypt with three in Cairo, and three in Alexandria.

“Our network infrastructure requirements were quite rigorous.  We sought a complete end to end solution coupled with high quality components and flexibility for future planning to ensure a future proof investment, said Hossam Ismail, IT Director, Al-Futtaim Group, Egypt.  “Given our criteria, R&M was the clear choice due to their advanced cabling product portfolio, zero defect components, and forward looking designs.”

The Toyota Egypt project is being led by R&M's partner, ElSalam for Engineering Equipment 'QUIP', a well known Egyptian systems integrator.  QUIP has recently completed a new datacenter for Toyota Egypt and a number of key installations in a wide variety of sectors such as oil, banking, telecom, education, and the governmental public sector. Each technical team member is also a certified R&M installer.

“Deploying R&M’s enterprise cabling solutions enable ease of installment and future planning flexibility.  Our work and customer satisfaction with companies such as Toyota Egypt has been greatly enhanced using R&M’s innovative cabling portfolio” said Eng. Effat Ahmed, Chairman, QUIP.
