Value for Money and Green Space Attract Dubai Residents to Victory Heights
Posted: 24-01-2010 , 08:19 GMT

Victory HeightsLuxury villas in Victory Heights are being snapped up by Dubai residents due to their excellent value for money, close proximity to world-class sporting facilities at Dubai Sports City, and its green and tranquil environment, it was revealed today.

To date 770 villas have been sold in the 961-unit development, with brand new homes currently costing almost AED200 a square foot less than other similar villa developments in Dubai, where buyers can only purchase second-hand properties.

The once-in-a-life time chance to live within the world’s first sporting city, the development’s peaceful setting around the award-winning The Els Club golf course, plus its abundance of community green space, are also proving strong draws for  residents from communities such as Arabian Ranches, The Springs, and The Meadows.  “People can get a brand new villa in Victory Heights at a significantly cheaper price than they would for an older, similar home in one of the more established residential communities in Dubai,” confirmed Lindsey Russell, managing director of real estate firm Gulf Platinum Properties, who moved from Arabian Ranches last May to a villa in Victory Heights.

“One of the main reasons I moved my family here was to take advantage of all the sporting facilities that are literally on my doorstep in Dubai Sports City. The development also has beautiful landscaping with lots of green space, and The Els Club golf course provides a picture-perfect setting, with swathes of green grass and calming water features,” Russell added.

“Victory Heights is one of the most impressive and sought after residential developments in Dubai. It offers a great place to live if you are into an active lifestyle and enjoy sports, while still offering peace and quiet to those who are tired of the noise and congestion of some other Dubai developments,” commented Talal Chihabi, Head of Sales, Marketing, Public Relations and Customer Services.

As well as being surrounded by the award-winning18-hole The Els Club golf course, Victory Heights’ is within walking distance of The Butch Harmon School of Golf, where both beginners and seasoned players can work on their game.
Just five minutes drive away is the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where national and international cricket and football matches are played, while five sporting academies offering world-class coaching to children of all ages in football, hockey, rugby, swimming, and cricket are due to open in early 2010.
The villas in the development are built in three different styles; authentic Spanish Andalusian, bold Mediterranean, and classic European styles.
