HH Hands Over Its Iconic Commercial Development, 014
Posted: 25-01-2010 , 10:13 GMT

014HH, a Dubai based boutique property developer, has officially announced the handover of its AED 300 million flagship development O14, a 22-storey freehold commercial building in Business Bay.

Strategically located at the center of Business Bay, O14 is designed to provide tenants with spectacular views of Dubai Creek, Burj Khalifa and Godolphin stables and will offer 165,000 square feet of office space as well as 6,500 square feet of retail space. In February 2010, Habib Al Mulla & Company Law Firm and Dr. Obaid Busit Legal Practice will be the first companies to occupy the iconic commercial development.

With main investors, District Investment and Development, 014 was launched in 2006 and developed by Shahab Lutfi, CEO and founder of HH.

Commenting on O14, Shahab Lutfi said, “We are delighted with the response received from investors and business-seekers to O14 and are confident that O14 will live up to its reputation of being the most highly conducive address in Dubai’s regional business hub.”

“At HH, we believe that development is creation and O14 embodies unique architectural designs and incomparable aesthetics, creating an inspirational setting where dreams turn into reality. The handover of O14 is a reflection of our commitment to achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction,” added Lutfi.

Designed by internationally renowned architects, Reisur and Umemoto (RUR) Architecture P.C in New York, the O14 tower is built around a new philosophy with the structure and skin flipped to offer a new concept of space. The O-14 has a perforated concrete façade that acts as the core of the tower. The façade perforations serve as a solar screen, letting in exceptional levels of light, air, and views through to the interior occupants. The one-meter space between the façade and the building’s glass surface also acts as a chimney effect causing hot air to rise, creating an efficient passive cooling system, therefore reducing energy consumption by at least 30%.

Tenants of O14, will have access to a diverse array of amenities including four levels of underground covered parking, recreational facilities, a restaurant and several retail outlets all complemented by modern office infrastructure.
